Hello Leon,

Thank you for contacting us about your site getting poor search results in Google. First, ensure that your index settings on the page are set to "Yes". If this is already set, most likely Google is showing the results of the previous time your site was "indexed". This means any new pages or changes have not been updated in Google's search results. You can request that Google re-crawls your site, which can update their index. Part of the process is using the URL inspection tool, which can help you understand how Google and other search engines view your website. But, keep in mind Google crawls sites at their own intervals and priorities so it may not update immediately.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Hello Jbartonp,

Thank you for contacting us about publishing a site after editing pages in BoldGrid. You can click the Update button toward the top right of the page to publish any changes. If you are working with a "Staged" site, you can launch the staging page to make it go live.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Unfortunately, if you are not able to change the color in the Customizer, it is part of the template. This means you would need to use custom CSS to code a solution or use a modified child theme to make the change. This would require familiarity with editing CSS. We have a helpful guide on how To Use Google Chrome Developer Tools to Customize CSS in BoldGrid if you want to proceed.

Hello sholeh_art,

Thank you for contacting us about the price of BoldGrid. Our website builder has two options: free or premium. Click here to view the differences between each plan. You will need to have a hosting account for your WordPress website in order to run this software. If you don’t currently have a hosting plan, check out our list of web hosting partners that offer BoldGrid with their plans.

Thank you,

Hello beat.wyss,

Thank you for contacting us about background images not displaying correctly. Unfortunately, this is a known issue at this time. There will hopefully be a fix rolling out soon though we do not have a specific time frame. You can still add these sections known as blocks back to your page. This is covered in our guide on how to use the block library.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Hello Zella,

Thank you for contacting us about using BoldGrid on your own host. Yes, BoldGrid will work on any up-to-date WordPress site with any Hosting provider. At this point, all hosts should support WordPress/BoldGrid.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about defining a remote FTP path in BoldGrid Backup. There is currently no option for setting the remote FTP path, but you can create an FTP account that is limited to a specific folder. Then, use that FTP account to perform the backup. I have notified the BoldGrid team about adding this option.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Hello knzon,

Hello

Thank you for contacting us about adding a paid membership to your website. Unfortunately, there is not a built-in way of managing payments in BoldGrid, but since it is powered by WordPress you can use one of the many 3rd party paid membership plugins. If you want to use your site for eCommerce, you may want to consider using WooCommerce.

Thank you,

John-Paul
