Hi Kahla,

I'm sorry to see that you are experiencing delays with your installation of BoldGrid. Thanks for posting your comment for assistance. If it's been a few minutes, I recommend starting over. However, prior to starting over, you should make a backup (if you have an existing site) and be sure to update WordPress and any other themes and plugins to their latest versions. The installation of BoldGrid shouldn't take very long. If you continue to experience issues, we will need a few more details surrounding your WordPress environment to diagnose the issue. For instance:

  • WordPress Version
  • PHP Version
  • Plugins and Themes Versions
  • BoldGrid Version you are attempting to install
  • Any errors displayed throughout the process

Feel free to reply back with more of those details for more help.

Best Regards,

Carlos D.

Hello,

Unfortunately, this is outside the functionality of BoldGrid. However, you can take advantage of the scalability of WordPress and utilize a plugin to handle an alternative language site.

Our developers are always looking for ways to improve BoldGrid for our users. You may also submit a feature request through BoldGrid Central to provide insight on your experience and needs when using BoldGrid.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Carlos D.

Hi Tristan,

Thanks for posting your question about adding HTML advertisements to your WordPress/BoldGrid website. I'm sorry to see you are experiencing issues in finding where to add those. I recommend adding HTML via the Page and Post Builder plugin. You can refer to our guide: How to Edit Pages in the BoldGrid Post and Page Builder. You can switch the Editor to "Text" instead of "Visual" to enter HTML code. If you need further assistance, please feel free to add a comment with more details of what you are trying to accomplish; we are always happy to help!

Sincerely,

Carlos D.

Hi deb,

Thanks for posting your question regarding the issue you were experiencing with the Pavillion theme and menu button on mobile. I'm sorry to see you had experienced that issue but glad you were able to find the solution!

Hi Gretchen,

Thanks for posting your question regarding using a BoldGrid Inspiration/theme to build an online operational manual. I recommend the Monument Inspiration, however, all of our BoldGrid certified themes should suffice for the look of your website. If you are interested in adding functionality that is beyond the BoldGrid capabilities, in this case, a Knowledge Base or Operation Manual, you can consider taking advantage of WordPress's versatility and use a plugin. You can find many options at WordPress.org.

I hope this helps! If you have more concerns/questions please feel free to leave a comment; we are always happy to help!

Sincerely,

Carlos D.

You're welcome Mazen, thanks for the feedback as well! Let us know if you need assistance with anything else, we are always happy to help!

Thank you for providing those details. I was able to reach out to a member of the BoldGrid development team here and they advised to modify your code to replace the '$' character with the 'jQuery' function. For example:

jQuery(window).bind("load", function() {
alert("OK1");
});

We were able to test this and find that it does work in both environments.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Carlos D.

Hello Kyle.

Thanks for posting your question about SFTP access to upload new files. Access to your server would be provided by the host that you are receiving services from. I recommend reaching out to them to determine what kind of access they can provide to your server for uploading files.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Carlos D.

I'm sorry to see that. Can you please provide more details as to what you are doing and what error you are seeing? This will help us to assist you better.
