Why are post and page builder plugin css called in haven child theme?

edwin 5 years ago updated by Jesse Owens (Community Manager) 5 years ago 6

I am having trouble with post and page builder plugin and creating a haven child theme. I'm experienced with WordPress and creating child themes. For some reason (I'm still troubleshooting) the post and page builder css (i.e. editor-fe.min.css) are getting called from the public facing pages in the Haven child theme. They are not being called in the non-child theme. This has the effect of overwriting the boldgrid-theme-framework.min.css rules.

Answer

Hi Edwin-
I wanted to update you, our development team has just released a new version of the Post and Page Builder that resolves this issue, allowing you to use any text domain or child theme name you'd like. If you update to version 1.10.2, you'll see the changes. Thank you very much for the feedback!

How do I Remove Ability to Comment on Photo Gallery picture? I keep receiving notifications that there are comments for me to approve on opened photos in my photo gallery. I have followed step to allow NO comments, but I keep receiving them.

kovac 5 years ago updated by arnelc 5 years ago 0

I have sought support previously to eliminate the mysterious comments that are appearing for me to "approve" in the photo gallery of my website. Is there something in there that I can't see, since the comments seem to refer to a blog or information that is not in my website. I never approve them and have attempted to follow the recommended steps to not allow any comments on my website. For example, the most recent one is: "I blog often and I really appreciate this information."  Huh?  Where are these nonsensical comments coming from and how do I keep all comments out of my photogallery?

I'm trying out the Primas theme and I cant seem to figure out how to remove widgets that are built in

Tim S 5 years ago updated by arnelc 5 years ago 1

I'm trying out the Primas theme and I cant seem to figure out how to remove widgets that are built in. As an example, on the home page header I want to trim the size down since I am not using some of the menu's and widgets but I can't see a simple way of removing them. I went into the widget section but there is no hide or remove option.

how to add text only element

Kahla Keegan 5 years ago updated by arnelc 5 years ago 1

I'm trying to add a seperate text element below an image for easier flexibility. I noticed when the caption for an image is below a photo, if i try to align the text under the center of the image it moves the image with it. I cannot figure out how to just add a text box to fix the issue. Please help!

Looking for a theme that fits our small startup gaming business.

Tim S 5 years ago updated by christopherm 5 years ago 1

I'm looking to create a new website and store but after looking at the theme categories I don't see anything that really fits. I'm starting a small business where we will be showcasing our games that we develop and will be selling. We would want to display images, videos, have a slider etc...

Any ideas?

WISH TO LINK A BUTTON TO AN EMAIL ADDRESS, NOT TO A WEBSITE

admin 5 years ago updated by jacqueems 5 years ago 1

Hi! I am trying to link a button to an email address, so when people click it they can send me a message from their default mailbox. Yet, it is not working for me; I can link buttons to websites but not to emails. What should I enter when inputing the email address in the link field? (by default it starts with a pound symbol). Should I start with "http://"? with "mailto:"? Please advise
