This year, BoldGrid will attend LoopConf: the WordPress developers conference. The very first conference dedicated specifically to WordPress developers, the first LoopConf took place for the first time back in 2015. Instead of catering to the entire (and incredibly large) WordPress community, this conference focuses exclusively on developers. It goes deep into the nuts and bolts of WordPress as a platform in ways other conferences rarely can.

For the 2018 LoopConf, various speakers will offer talks on topics important to developers, ranging from the effective use of Chrome’s developer tools to developing popular e-commerce tools like WooCommerce. We will learn about different methodologies, ways to develop in a more efficient and effective manner, and networking with some of the top WordPress developers in the country.

This event runs from February 21 through February 23 and will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are excited to be sending our very own MikeDemo into the field to attend this conference. Since WordPress is very much a priority for us as a company, we love attending events like this where guests can learn all the nuances behind developing for WordPress while connecting with some of the best and brightest in the industry.

You can get more information on LoopConf directly from the official LoopConf website, which includes a lineup of this year’s speakers, topics, ticket and venue information, and more.

If you are attending LoopConf and would like some extra time to network with BoldGrid’s MikeDemo, or Pantheon’s Dwayne McDaniel, you can join us this Friday night, February 23rd, for an unofficial LoopConf event at Top Golf. The first hour of golfing is on us, the second hour is on Pantheon, so stop by, say hi, and show us your best moves on the green. Need directions? No problem! Top Golf is located at located at 920 Jordan River Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047. We look forward to seeing you!

WordCamp Phoenix

Last October, BoldGrid attended WordCamp Phoenix and loved every minute of it.
