BoldGrid Heads Back to New York for WordCamp Rochester

Blog

It seems like just a few weeks ago that BoldGrid made the trip to New York (mostly because WordCamp New York was just a few weeks ago). But, we head back to the Empire State (albeit, Upstate) on November 18 for WordCamp Rochester.
WordCamp Rochester promises quite the event this year, with three separate speaking tracks. But, all the action happens in a single, knowledge-packed day. 22 speakers will share their respective knowledge of WordPress with an audience that ranges from interested hobbyists to dedicated web design professionals. In addition, between sessions, guests will have the chance to interact with a selection of vendors — including BoldGrid. This year’s camp takes place at SUNY Brockport in the Liberal Arts Building. The WordCamp Rochester website has information about schedules, locations, parking, and more. Tickets remain available for the event, but limited numbers mean you should probably buy sooner rather than later.  If you visit the WordCamp Rochester website, take note of the calls for volunteers, speakers, and sponsors. Remember that WordCamps exist because of — and to benefit — the WordPress community. As a result, if you value the information and networking opportunities provided by WordCamps, and happen to be in the Rochester area, you should consider contributing your time, knowledge, or funds. Of course, the same holds true for those in other communities, and information about getting involved with a camp in your backyard can be found on WordCamp Central’s website. BoldGrid proudly sponsors this WordCamp and we plan to have a booth at the event. If you plan to attend, stop by and chat with our team members, grab some free BoldGrid swag, and learn more about BoldGrid. At many of these events, BoldGrid stands out as one of the few plugin vendors. So, we should not be too hard to find.
