BoldGrid is Ready For WordPress 5.0

Blog

As the WordPress community prepares for the release of Version 5.0, much speculation and anticipation surrounds the integration of Gutenberg (the new WordPress editor). As you may have read, Gutenberg uses “Blocks” to create a drag-and-drop page-building experience as opposed to the “Classic” WYSIWYG editor. BoldGrid users will no doubt have noticed that BoldGrid also provides a drag-and-drop interface that uses blocks.

So the question now is: how does BoldGrid integrate with the Gutenberg editor? Have no fear. You will still be able to use the BoldGrid Post and Page Builder in the new version of WordPress. All you’ll need to do is select BoldGrid’s Post and Page Builder as your desired editor. That’s it!

What’s New in BoldGrid?

We’re all about WordPress, so we’re really excited about WordPress 5.0. Here are a few things you can expect from BoldGrid as the new WordPress version approaches:

  • New compatibility features with Gutenberg for both the Post and Page Builder and SEO plugin
  • Choose your editor (BoldGrid Post and Page Builder, Gutenberg, or Classic Editor)

Stay tuned as we plan on integrating more BoldGrid features into Gutenberg. So no matter what editor you prefer in the long run, you will still be able to take advantage of our intuitive BoldGrid features and layouts now and into the future.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all at WordCamp US this weekend in Nashville, TN. Be sure to stop by and say hello!
