    Hi Hunsa –

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear that you are getting these warnings on your site today. It looks like these are coming specifically from the Ninja Forms plugin. It looks like the Ninja Froms plugin you are using is one we haven’t recommended in a very long time. It’s likely that the plugin is extremely out of date and I’d recommend removing it and replacing it with an alternative.

We have turned to a new forms plugin, WeForms that you could look into as a viable replacement.

I hope this helps Hunsa! Please let us know if you have any further questions for us.

    Hi Justin,

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the layouts of videos on your page. While switching to aBoldgrid theme shouldn’t erase  your site altogether however going through inspirations may replace some of your content, I also understand if you are happy with your current theme it would be best to get it working for you.

We are more than happy to see if there is something that we can do from this end to get this fixed for you. Can you share a link to a page or example that we can take a look at to assist you further?

Thanks Justin, we look forward to your response!

    Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for reaching out! While this isn’t a feature provided by Crio or our other plugins this is something that is certainly possible. Something you might look into to do this is the Widget Options Plugin which would allow you to use conditional tags and other means to control when and how a widget is displayed.

This or a similar plugin would be a great solution for what you are trying to do.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions for us.

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for reaching out with your Crio Pro WordPress theme question. It sounds like you are trying to install the Premium plugin as a theme.

Crio Pro comes in two parts, you would need to install the Crio theme itself which is the same as you would with the free version, and the second part is the Crio Pro plugin which is used to activate the premium features. Based on your question it sounds like you are trying to install the plugin as a theme. If you have activated your connect key on your site, once you have both the theme and plugin you should be able to use your premium subscription features.

I hope this helps David! Please let us know if you have any further questions for us.

    Hi Timothy,

Thanks for reaching out! There are multiple ways to install BoldGrid, InMotion has an integration with their AMP panel that is an easy convenient option for users newer to WordPress and hosting. The options in your AMP should install BoldGrid to your site by default and will automatically apply your connect key.

If you are more experienced with WordPress and are more accustomed to working with it regularly Installing a clean WordPress and adding the BoldGrid Plugins after is a good option as it might be more familiar to you as far as maintaining and managing the site.

In the end there isn’t necessarily a con as far as BoldGrid is concerned with what method you choose but depending on how you prefer to install WordPress, for example if you tend to use Softaculous, you may not get the same automatic login options or control over the installation details. The only real downside to installing BoldGrid after a clean WordPress installation is taking a minute or two to install the plugins/theme and activating your connect key.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if there’s anything else that we can help with Timothy.

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for reaching out and thanks for using Crio Pro WordPress theme! I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble adding galleries on your site today.

Can you describe what is happening when you attempt to insert a gallery? Are you using the orange “Add Block Component” icon at the top of your page editor and choosing the Gallery block option or using the “Add Gallery” button above the editor?

I also wanted to see if you saw any change in the text editor before and after adding the gallery.

    Hi Marie,

Thanks for reaching out to BoldGrid Themes home of Crio Pro WordPress theme and BoldGrid Post and Page Builder!

Here at BoldGrid we provide quality WordPress themes and plugins but we do not manage client sites. I do apologize for the misunderstanding. I would recommend reaching out to your hosting provider who actually manages the server your WordPress site lives on so their support may be most beneficial to you on these types of matters.

We do have an article on 5 ways to reset your WordPress password that should help you figure this out!

    Thank you!

    Hi Cynthia,

Thanks for reaching out and thank you for using BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

In most cases you are indeed correct, you are able to set your preferred editor to use the Post and Page Builder by default. However the theme you are using is one of the new block themes used with the Full Site Editor. This is a relatively new addition to WordPress and is built to work with the WordPress Block editor.

Unfortunately the Post and Page Builder is not compatible with the Full Site Editor or the block themes that utilize it at this time. While you can still use Post and Page Builder for individual pages or posts it’s recommended to use the WordPress Block editor to avoid unexpected errors or issues.

I hope this helps. Please reach back out if you have any other questions for us.

    Thanks for reaching out Dominik,

Thanks for your questions and thank your using Total Upkeep for WordPress!

By default, the plugin  keeps the generated backups in a folder located in the root directory of your hosting rather than in the site directory itself. This is to help prevent any issues affecting your sites from having any baring on your backups as well as to prevent your backups from being included in subsequent backups. This setting can be changed but before we go that route we want to get some of the usual suspects out of the way first.

First, find out your backup directory. You can find this in Total Upkeep -> Preflight Check. Most of the time, this is in your home directory, in a directory called boldgrid_backup.

Could you send us the log file of the most recent backup attempt made on your website? I would like to see if our team can find any indicator of what the issue might be based on the information in that file. We have some troubleshooting guidelines in our support center related to backup creation failures and the instructions there will help you locate the Total Upkeep log files.

We look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi Hank,

Thanks so much for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having problems creating backup with Total Upkeep but lets see if we can help you out.The first thing that I spot when I look over the log you provided is the permissions error. This is likely due to your file permissions with your host.

Additionally, moving down your error log. It looks like the pcntl_async_signals method is not enabled in the version of PHP currently running on your web server and enabling it should get rid of the error message. You might need to reach out to your hosting provider to see if one or both of these issues are something that they can handle for you.

Hopefully making that configuration change gets the backup schedule working again and let us know if there is anything else that we can do to help!

    Hi Monica,

Thanks so much for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having problems creating backup with Total Upkeep but lets see if we can help you out.

Generally when Total Upkeep backups fails without detecting any errors it means that the backup process was terminated directly by the web server, usually because of resource consumption.

One feature that we added to our WordPress backup plugin is the ability to change the compressor used for generating backup files which allows it to work in a variety of hosting environments.

What I would recommend you should try is changing the compressor type used for generating backup files. In most cases changing the Backup Compressor settings to use System Zip allowed most users to get backups working correctly.

Please let us know if the problem persists after switching to System Zip or if you have any other questions for us, we are always happy to help!

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for reaching out with your questions. It sounds like you are looking to get your WordPress Admin Dashboard password reset. While BoldGrid makes the software that you use to build your website, we don’t have any access to your website to be able to tell your password or email address used.

We do have a detailed guide on 5 different ways you can reset your password, including several that you can use without knowing the email address.

If these options don’t help you or you need further assistance, it looks like you’re using one of our Premium WordPress hosting partners, InMotion Hosting. You can find InMotion’s support options here.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Tim,

Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!

Our theme is designed to act as the primary styling resource on your site. As a result it may be overriding your settings from the plugin. What you can do here is make use of the Custom CSS/JS Editor by accessing your wp-admin Dashboard → Customize. From there you can add your style customizations to specific elements.

We took a look for you and I got you some basic custom rules created to get you started:

You can modify these to set the colors to your preference or you can add and create your own.

I hope this helps! Don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have any questions for us.

in reply to: weForms submissions are not sending to my WP email #65027
    Andy V

    Hi Theresa,

Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using weForms! You are actually on the right Track! Out of the box, emails sent from your WordPress Site will typically fail or get marked as spam, this includes emails from contact forms. By default it uses the server’s PHP Mail system. This is important because lots of spammers also use PHP Mail, which makes a lot of email systems see these unauthenticated emails as Spam. Check your spam folder, but it’s also possible that your email provider didn’t even let the emails get that far.

What you are looking for is an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP, which will actually let you set up your website to log into your email account and send mail as you. Once that is set up you should start receiving contact form submissions to your email account.

If you continue to have issues after that your hosting provider will also be able to check your email delivery logs to determine the precise cause of any issues, so you can also contact them to be sure.

    I hope this helps!

in reply to: Can I log into Cloud WordPress without a password? #65025
    Andy V

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Cloud WordPress for your staging needs. Unfortunately the user authentication you are referring to is native to WordPress and we aren’t able to remove the authentication requirement for anything that would normally require a login.

When Staging a site with Cloud WordPress you are able to publish posts or pages as publicly visible if you want what you are trying to share to be publicly accessible to your client. If that’s a good option you can just share the link with your client.

If you need your client to access the Admin Dashboard without being prompted for a login there isn’t a way to do this without the help of a plugin. A good one for this that you might consider is the Temporary Login without Password plugin. You can use that plugin to generate a temporary login for your client and provide them whatever level of access as necessary. After the login is created just send your client the link generated by the plugin and they will be able to access your WordPress admin area as if they were logged in.

I hope this helps! Please reach back out if there’s anything else that we can answer for you.

    Hi Patrick,

Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!

I took at what you had going on and I was able to recreate what you were seeing on your end and get a working solution for you. Since the buttons and quantity controls are generated by WooCommerce they wouldn’t be as easy as editing a page with our Post and Page Builder, which means we can fix this by adding some custom CSS.

First you will need to access the custom CSS/JS editor on the Customize screen, and once you are there you can add the code below into the CSS section with copy and paste:

Just to clarify, the minus button is white because the quantity is at 0. So to prevent the person on the page from adding a negative amount the button gets disabled which is why it’s white like that. I did however in the rule I provided make it so that the Minus Icon stands out a bit better for you and you can see the border of the button a little easier. You are more than welcome to change the background color or any other values in the snippet provided.

I hope this helps! Please reach back out if there’s anything else that we can answer for you.
