    Hi Miriam,

In this case you may need to access the template file itself to remove the inline CSS. Being that this is a WooCommerce issue you could likely find a solution in the WooCommerce Support channel.

We would still be happy to inspect the page for you however if you’re able to produce a link for us.

    Thanks Miriam!

    Hi Miriam!

Your EventPress theme handles your sidebar, what you’d probably want to do is contact their tech support page for assistance with getting them to display on every page.

Your WooCommerce text issue is likely a CSS issue. If you wouldn’t mind linking us to one of your WooCommcerce pages we can inspect it using our browser tools and find the CSS Selectors to help you enlarge the text.

Also, updating PHP is a bit different from updating your WordPress Version. Updating Your PHP version is something that’s done on the server level so it would require you logging into your Web Host admin or control panel application.

You can check the PHP version of your website from your WordPress dashboard. You need to visit Tools > Site Health section, click the Info tab and scroll down and select the Server dropdown.

PHP version 8.0 is the recommended version of WordPress, your web host should be able to help you upgrade our software if it’s any lower than that.

    Thanks Miriam!

Sorry it’s taken me a while to respond.

All my plugins, the theme, and the WordPress version are up-to-date. Can’t find an option to update the PHP, but if it’s the latest version of WordPress it should be the latest version of PHP.

The shortcut code is definitely correct according to the docs. It’s a mystery. I’ll see if I can get any help from WooCommerce itself.

    Thanks

    Hi H,

We are aware of the outdated Crio WooCommerce templates as well. Both themes use the same framework package. The issue has been reported and patch and is just waiting for approval to be implemented in the upcoming patch release.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for your reply Miriam,

I’m wondering if the shortcode provided to generate the UI has been removed or is deprecated. If the site hasn’t been updated in a while be sure to update your WordPress Core, PHP Version, WordPress theme, and any active plugins you might be running.

I know PHP 8.0 has been introduced as the most stable version of PHP at the moment so if you’re still running PHP 7.4 or below it could be producing some errors.

As far as your issue with Stripe I’d recommend reaching out to WooCommerce support directly. They’ll be more equip to answer these types of questions for you.

If you can create a new test page for a product we would be more than happy to test your checkout process with you.

Thanks Miriam! Hope you’re able to resolve these issues quickly, we’re always here to help in any way that we can!

I have been using the Total Upkeep backup for about 2 years now. Looking at my logs, it stops at May 29 in my history and I have been having that same array error since then. Everytime I backup it does say completed successfully.
I backup to our google drive, but it overwrites previous backups when it saves it.
Wordpress/woocommerce recently did an update that did require a higher php. I was sent an email telling me they would charge if our php was not raised to php 8.0 or higher. We were previously at php 7.4. We had to up our memory limit to accommodate the change. Woocommerce is constantly updating so I can not confirm the issue began with an update.

Hi Brandon, thank you for responding.

I didn’t build the website myself (It was built 2 years ago, I was brought in to update it) but I note that in the pages that are solely for Woo Commerce, there is no Post and Page Builder content. The checkout page just says “[woocommerce_checkout]” and the cart page just says “[woocommerce_cart]”, so I assume the plugin is providing the entire UI for those pages. I can’t link you to either page because they only appear once you have added a product to your cart. Let me know if you wish to do this and I will create another test product.

There are no major errors in the console, just failed POST requests to r.srtipe.com[0] which I looked up and don’t seem to be the issue, and a ton of CSS errors, mostly to do with browser choice (e.g., the browser not knowing what webkit is because you are using Chrome).

    Hi Miriam,

Thanks for reaching out and thank you for using BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

Are you using Post and Page Builder for your WooCommerce pages? If you could link us to one of those pages we can take a look and give you our best suggestions on how to go about resolving this issue.

Thank you, we hope to hear from you soon!

Having major headaches with WooCommerce. I added a test item to check the functionality and in the checkout, all text fields for entering card details were minuscule, the user interface is clearly not working. I then removed the test item. Plus, a sidebar with “Your Cart” is showing on every single page instead of just the tickets page. I was having the problem with the checkout user interface before I tried fixing it by upgrading the WordPress, PHP and EventPress theme versions to the latest, but that has only made things worse as now that cart is showing everywhere.

WooCommerce appears to be set up correctly with Stripe. Does anyone know what has gone wrong? I am getting a warning about my theme containing outdated copies of 2 WooCommerce files, but am not sure if that is causing this.

This is a screenshot of the text fields. (I was showing someone the CSS, but you can still see how small the fields are).

    Hi Sijay,

Thank you for reaching out! We are aware of the out of date WooCommerce template in the Wedge theme and we are working to get them updated as soon as possible. You should experience any issues as a result of this but if you notice any errors in functionality please let us know so that we can promptly address it.

Thank you, Sijay. You can check back here at any time for an update on this matter!

Hello, I am running a premium account on BoldGrid to use in conjunction with the Wedge theme. At least 20 Woo Commerce templates are out of date. Will there be a fix of this? A basic google search shows many users are experiencing this.

    Awesome Shane,

We really appreciate your input. We have a identified and have a fix in for these templates, they’ll be updated in an upcoming Crio patch release!

In the meantime it should not affect your woocommerce pages functionality. Please let us know if you experience any issues!

    Thank you!

    Brandon,

I’m also using Crio 2.20.3. Looks like there are three WooCommerce template files that still need to be updated:

crio/woocommerce/loop/no-products-found.php version 2.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 7.8.0

crio/woocommerce/myaccount/downloads.php version 3.2.0 is out of date. The core version is 7.8.0

crio/woocommerce/myaccount/orders.php version 7.0.1 is out of date. The core version is 7.8.0

My site is a wordpress based woocommerce site. I have recently been getting an array error on during backups. I am not experienced at programming/coding so I am not sure how to fix the error.

    Hi,

Could you please give me advice on the following:

    1. Lazy Loading Exclude Words

    According to

The Ideal W3 Total Cache Settings 2023: Revamped With New Features/Setup Guide

Exclude Words: add all above the fold images here to exclude them from lazy load. This can improve LCP since lazy loading your above the fold images would be counterintuitive.

In Performance > User experience > Lazy Loading > Exclude Words

I have the following in the field (not sure if this was from default or my colleague’s settings):

    avia-bg-style-fixed
    data-bgposition=
    data-envira-src=
    data-large_image=
    data-lazy-original=
    data-lazy-src=
    data-lazyload=
    data-lazysrc=
    data-no-lazy=
    data-src=
    data-srcset=
    fullurl=
    lazy-slider-img=
    loading=”eager”
    no-lazy
    rev-slidebg
    skip-lazy
    soliloquy-image
    swatch-img
    w3-total-cache
    woocommerce/assets/images/placeholder.png
    wpcf7_captcha

Are these all accurate or do I need to delete and/or add any? Do I also need to manually enter the url of each image above the fold for each page of the website?

    2. Lazy Loading Threshold

    According to

The Ideal W3 Total Cache Settings 2023: Revamped With New Features/Setup Guide

Threshold: can result in a smoother scrolling experience by loading images before they get into the viewport using a threshold (i.e. 100px, 10%). This prevents lazy loaded images from “jumping” onto the page especially if you scroll down fast (bad for user experience).

    Which value would you recommend?

    Thanks
    Mel

    Hi,

Can you assist please as I have just had this notice pop up on my dashboard – Your theme (Crio) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. I checked through and there are no updates available.

So I have checked past similar situations, and I saw this advice:
“Can you first check the “Themes” section of your WordPress dashboard, click the “Diced” theme to open its properties and verify the theme version for us?
I would also like for you to navigate to Settings > BoldGrid Connect > Update Channels and make sure both Plugins and Themes are both set to Stable.”
The crio version is 2.20.3 and both plug-ins and themes are set to stable.

Please can you advise on the next step? Or indeed, if there is a more up-to-date version of this.

Sorry, I got distracted while typing the original msg. It is on editing a woocommerce ORDER, not product. My mistake… I can VIEW the order, but the edit page function is where I’m having the issue.

    Hi Cindi,

Thank you for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder and Woocommerce questions.

Is this issue effecting all of your WooCommerce product pages or is it limited to the one you were working on at the time the issue occurred? You may need to change your preferred editor back to Post and Page Builder in the page itself instead of globally.

You should also clear any cache associated with your website, this includes browser cache and any server side cache.

Also, has this issue had any effect on your live page? If you could link us to that page we can inspect it and see if any errors arise in the console.

We look forward to assisting you further with this.

I was viewing an order and the page was mostly blank and the block information was laid out incorrectly. Using the top right pull down menu I changed the editor from BoldGrid to WordPress block (I’m running v6.2).

Now when I go to edit an order, I get a blank white screen. I can’t see or edit my order page and I can’t get back to the menu to switch editors.

I went to the BoldGrid settings page and made sure all the pages were set to BoldGrid by default and saved the settings again. Still nothing. Can anyone help me?

    Thank you,
    Cindi

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for using with and thank you for using the Wedge theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

Your Wedge theme is considered a BoldGrid Legacy theme and only receives core updates to keep it functional at this time. With that being said, we’d just need some details on the issue from you so that we can get it over to our developers to inspect.

Are you receiving an error message of any kind? If so, it would be a great help it you can paste it here so that we can take a look. If it’s something like out of date WooCommerce templates we should be able to patch that and send out and update.

All of the Wedge theme features and controls have been integrated into Crio Pro WordPress theme! which receives regular updates and is fully compatible with Post and Page Builder. Crio is very well documented and comes with over 400 customizable controls right out of the box including highly functional WooCommerce control settings.

Switching over to Crio is just a suggestion but I think it will streamline a lot of your design work.

We look forward to assisting you further with this Bill!

Wouldn’t know what I’m looking for in logs, can someone help figure this out?

Your backup failed, and we were unable to detect any fatal errors. This usually happens when your hosting provider kills a backup process using the “SIGKILL” signal. To learn more about this as well as troubleshooting techniques, please click here.

    Hello Peter,

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
This may be called by some other plugins as well, depending on a theme or the plugins you are using. Since you are updating a product category, there is a chance that woocommerce is calling flush_all.
The W3 Total Cache only purges the page that is updated.
To confirm this, please disable all purge settings in the Performance>Page Cache>Purge policy and let me know if the problem persists.
If the issue persists, it means that 3rd party plugin//them is calling the purge and we have a programmatic solution for this.

    Thanks!

    Hi Avril,

Thanks for reaching out and thanks for using Crio Pro WordPress theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder!

There are WooCommerce platforms out there but it depends on what you’re selling on your platform. A common alternative is Easy Digital Downloads but this is mostly for downloadable and virtual products. Maybe if you can explain what you need in your e-commerce platform we can help point you in the right direction.

Please let us know if we can answer anything else for you!

I don’t want Woocommerce. What merchant platform are compatible with Bold Grid?

    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder questions!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having a bit of trouble but I’m sure the reason for this is incompatibilities with your StoreFront theme. Post and Page builder was created to seamlessly integrate with BoldGrid Framework based themes such as Crio Pro WordPress theme.

The Storefront theme actually functions much better with the standard WordPress block editor so I’d recommend at least switching your preferred editor for your WooCommerce product pages.

If you’d like to try Crio Pro WordPress theme we welcome you to do so. Crio comes with over 400 customizable options out of the box and as I mentioned integrates 100% with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder.

I hope this helps David, please let us know if there’s anything else that we can answer for you!

The published page on my Woocommerce site looks different to the page in edit. Things get squashed out of shape, pictures are different sizes. When I try to correct by altering the block or font sizes it seems to get worse. I’ve read the two posts that refer to this and I’ve tried the suggested option which is basically to save the permalink. Also, you promote BoldGrid as having a simple drag & drop system. Where can I find that? When I try dragging & dropping elements they end up in strange places. Also, your documentation is not very helpful. In fact most of it just describes what a block or column or element is but not how to use it. In fact your documentation has a basic flaw in that it uses different terms for the same thing which is bad writing. ‘Section’ and ‘block’ come to mind which apparently refer to the same thing.

    Hello,

one of my clients has the W3 Total Cache Pro version on a Woocommerce Shop.
I have passed several hours of trying out and observing the caching behaviour but I am still not sure how it works in any detail – also not from your website articles. (Several other websites spreading also total nonsense…).
Of course, we want to get out the most of your tool, but on the other hand make sure that no old content or prices are published…
Could you maybe help us with the following:

    1) Is there a more detailed guide that explasin how to configure the caching for wocommerce?

    2) …same for common WordPress Websites?

    3) Concrete questions e.g.:
    a) How does the cache exactly work and how and when after an update of a page a new cached version is saved? – For example, I found out that Clearing the cache of a single page does not create a new cached version immediately…
    b) So, how does this depend on the settings of the cron job (number of pages to cache at once and time interval)?
    c) How exactly does the queue work?
    d) Sitemap entries also of relevance?
    Etc.

    4) As far as I found out (think so?) there is no option e.g. to clear and preload the cache of all pages e.g. at midnight for pages that do not need new versions more often? – I also had read that it should be possible and useful to set up a cron job at the provider… but all I could see in practice from the cache/page_enhanced folder, pages will always be rewritten based on other settings and non-stop over the whole day…

Overall, a lot of information missing to understand how to configure the tool at it’s best and not by hazard.

Could you help? Thanks a lot!

    Best,

    Thomas

    Hi Pablo,

There’s no specific product page image size. It really depends on exactly how you’d like to display the product image. But here’s a guide on optimizing your WooCommerce product image size that should get you close to where you want to be.

    Hi Curtis,

Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention and thank you for using the Monument theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

Monument is considered one of our V1 or legacy themes meaning they only receive core updates and it’s possible we may have missed these WooCommerce template updates. The good news is I don’t think this should cause any compatibility issues within your site.

I’ve contacted our developers about the issue, and we will get an update released shortly. I’ll be sure to notify you in the thread here as soon as we do!

    Thanks you!

Ever since WordPress updated, I am getting an error where a majority of template files are outdated and need to be updated. Is there an update to the Monument theme to ensure these files are updated? Or, do I neeed to go manually update all of them and risk errors within the Theme?

    Hi there,

I can’t seem to get my backup working. My host is Dreamhost and i’m connected to WordPress. I have tried the system zip compressor in settings but it doesn’t seem to work.

When I go ahead to do the backup I get this message “Your backup failed, and we were unable to detect any fatal errors. This usually happens when your hosting provider kills a backup process using the “SIGKILL” signal. To learn more about this as well as troubleshooting techniques, please click here.”

If you could help me fix this I would appreciate it thank you.

Thank you for the reply. I actually found the setting right after I sent the previous question.

I entered the string ‘/wc/v3/*’ in the ‘Never cache the following pages’ field. I also ensured that REST API is set to ‘Don’t cache’. However, WooCommerce API connections are still not working.

Yes, I do have database caching turned on. Can I assume from your question that I should turn that off?

I’ve read several of the support docs that reference a section called, ‘Never cache the following pages’, but where is it? I need to exclude the /wc/v3/* path from cache so the WooCommerce API will still work, but I can’t find anywhere to enter exclusions.

    Thanks a lot Heather,

Thank you for using Cobalt WordPress theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder and many thanks for bringing this to our attention.

This prompt is actually informing us that some of the WooCommerce templates associated with your Cobalt theme are out of date. Although the V-1 themes don’t get many updates these core updates are needed from time to time.

I will make sure a request is put in with our developers and we should have this update implemented shortly. Rest assured that this notice will not cause any errors or slow downs within your WooCommerce templates.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks Nan,

We’ve identified the issue. We have some global WooCommerce templates that are out of date. I’ve relayed this our developers and we should have a patch released for it sometime this week. I’ll be sure to reach back out to you as soon as it releases!

Thanks. I just did that, but I’m getting the same message on the plugins page.

Your theme (Diced) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.

If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.
